Democrats May Talk Despair but Republicans Deliver

When you want something other than talk, look to Republicans. Presidential hopeful Fred Thompson noted his party's ability to deliver despair when he accused Democrats of only mouthing the words. A look at the Bush record reveals:

Number of people without health insurance increased 5.6 million

2001 41.0 million
2005 46.6 million

Number of people living below poverty level rose 4 million

2001 32.9 million
2005 36.9 million

In four years in office a Republican led White House and Congress increased despair for 4-6 million Americans. Yes Fred and George, while Democrats talk, Republicans take decisive action. Or should I have said derisive action?
