It’s a sad day in the United States when political operatives split hairs over the extent of the Bush administrations misrepresenting Iraqi ties to Osama bin Laden prior to America’s invasion. Was it inappropriate or illegal? Does this mean a lie is not a lie in the black and white Bush administration? The problem is, in his mind "black" is anything his opponents do, while "white" is the color of the high horse George rides.
The bottom line shows America entered a war based on two lies, WMD’s and al Qaeda links to Saddam Hussein. Now that the Bush team has been caught, their defense is they didn’t do "anything illegal". So fighting a war based on lies is moral? I think not and so does 70% of the country.
