“Good Bush Government” Includes Lies, Hedging

Ex-Pentagon deputy Doug Feith defended his prewar analysis linking Saddam Hussein to al Qaeda as an example of “good government”. “The “mature symbiotic relationship” between the Iraqi leader and Osama bin Laden’s henchmen never materialized in reality. A Pentagon IG found no support for the assertion. So good government equals lies, now comes the hedging.

No one in my office ever claimed there was an operational relationship," Doug Feith said on "Fox News Sunday." "There was a relationship."

Please, Mr. Feith you can drop sleazy defense. The 9-11 Commission found no evidence of a relationship. Yet Feith, Cheney, Rumsfeld and Bush all pushed this fiction until it became beyond embarrassing for the credibility of our country. Doug is still shoveling it…
