BP's Hayward in UAE to Buy Sand?

BP CEO Tony Hayward met with Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Reports suggest Hayward angled for investment funding, similar to The Carlyle Group and Citi. However, Tony could have another motive.

BP could use a lot of sand to replenish Gulf Coast beaches. The Crown Prince's brother is on film using sand creatively.

Might Tony be in the UAE for sand? Could Dennis Blair facilitate the deal on behalf of Obama's State Department, currently busy processing international aid offers?

Other Middle Eastern countries interested in buying BP shares on the cheap include Libya and Saudi Arabia.

The Abu Dhabi Sheikh saved the Arabian Oryx. Can he do the same for Tony Hayward and Gulf Coast wildlife?
