Surprise! Haaretz reported that Vice President Dick Cheney's next stop is Israel. On his second major Middle East war tour, Cheney will carry a message from the Saudi's that more needs to be done to resolve the Israeli/Palestinian conflict and achieve peace. After stamping his Christian credentials at an Easter Sunday church service in Jerusalem, Dick Cheney will venture into the West Bank to meet with Palestinian leaders. There he will discuss Israel's right to defend itself (which apparently includes nuclear weapons) and the ways forward in the peace process. Let's hope it's different than America's peace efforts in nearby Iraq.
