Pope Highlights Violent Side of Islam while Ignoring Christianity and Judaism

In a classic stick pointing incident, while ignoring the log in his own eye, Pope Benedict XVI read several passages from Middle Age leaders about violence in Islam.

Did the Pope choose to ignore fundamentalist Judaism and Christianity which sport there own versions of violent win/lose theology and thus behavior? A new Christian video game has players converting or killing nonbelievers. It even has the stamp of approval from the Left Behind series.

The Pope later did say “Violence is incompatible with the nature of God and the nature of the soul." Why he didn’t speak to Christian, Jewish, and Muslim violence I don’t know? It would have strengthened his message in my mind as there would be fewer logs in view.
