85 days, 16 hours and 25 minutes after the first report April 20 of an explosion on the Deepwater Horizon oil rig, oil
stopped flowing into the Gulf of Mexico (through the stacking cap).
Pressure tests

A relief well will permanently plug the flow and there's a monstrous mess to clean up. Cheers to the stopping the spew, even if temporarily.
