Congress Complicit on Bush Torture

The "moving forward" White House maintains the unitary executive. Good King Obama issued a decree banning torture interrogation techniques. A milk toast Congress can't decide what to do, in large part due to their complicity. It's likely no court cases will be heard. Bush lawyers may be subject to professional discipline for their role in selling torture, per orders from the echelons of power.

The Obama Justice Department should bring cases. America's courts, including the Supreme Court, need to weigh in. This issue is too important to leave to future Presidents and a spineless Congress.
