BP's Vice President Kent Wells lost his technical luster
in testimony at the
Deepwater Horizon investigation hearing. When he wasn't claiming ignorance, Wells hedged on National Incident Commander
Thad Allen's longtime assertion that relief wells are the final solution for the
spill.
Wells stated there are other technical options for shuttering the well. Might those be temporary, enabling the well to be produced at some point in the future?
